Looking for some ideas.....

I am going to be the Heavy Weapons class coordinator for the next Middle Kingdom Academy of Defense (http://www.ravenslake.com/mkaod.htm - to see the 2005 MKAOD event info) The heavy weapons aspect of this event is a recent addition (meaning it was just added in 2005, and just so)
The general premise for this event, for those not familiar with it, is a more historic approach to any classes that are taught there. The focus is on teaching technique rather than on fighting, though some of this does occur. Classes up until this past year have been focused on rapier applied techniques (Tallhoffer, Fiorie, Meyer - all of whom I am sure I am misspelling - go ahead and beat me Kevin!) as the main focus (with a few A&S for those who dont fight.)

Given the response of adding the heavy weapons aspect to it at the last event, I want to expand the classes available at the next one (which is over Labor Day weekend.) I am looking for ideas on types of classes that at least have a historic tie or basis that people would be interested in seeing at an event of this nature.

I am looking for any input that ANY of you (SCA or not) would think to be a good addition to this event. Also, anyone who would be interested in teaching at this event next year (3 day event - Labor Day weekend) can email me with their interest.

I know it is a long time away, but I like to plan ahead. :D :D
