I've heard there is something being planned.
It's notoriously hard to get a decent field time for one at Gulf Wars.

the two man spear tourney was loads of fun. It was on Tuesday two years ago. i heard they didn't have it last year because of the weather.

There is a tournament scheduled every day of the war from Tuesday onward, both heavy and rapier.
Speaking of heavy weapons, those that I know of (and I consider myself relatively well-informed) are:
Shadow Legion 3-man barrier list
Diamond Tournament (sponsorship by sitting Queens/Princesses only - both Rapier and Heavy)
Legion of the Bear Tournament (5-man melee tourney)
Order of the Rose Unbelted Tournament - Sponsorship by a present Rose required
Trimarian Bearpit Tournament
Ansteorran-sponsored Tournament
There are fewer this year on the schedule - hopefully it will pick up again next year.

Your majesty, the schedules are up on the website. wwwlgulfwars.org. Available in pdf or word doc. Looked like to me that there was something scheduled every day. I just hope I will have time to go see some the them this year.

House Shadow Legion will sponsor a 3 man barrier tournament.
Opem weapon forms, want to use a dagger, go ahead.
Only the first 24 teams will be allowed to enter. Each
side of the barrier will be 16X8. Should any fighter step out of the
barrier area they will be determined to be retreating and will be
eliminated from the match.

Glad to hear they are finally up. I was going by what was sent to the Principal Crowns this past weekend by Sir John.
