A number of people in the WMA community commented favourably on it when it became available. Apparently Lindholm's interpretations vary somewhat from Christian Tobler's. I've seen it briefly, it appears to be a pleasant read and well illustrated. I'm not into the Liechtenauer tradition, so I can't comment any further.

i like Tolbert's stuff, i've met him he seems to have a good read on it.

Palus Kal dagger class felt simple and solid. I'll stick with him on my German stuff, least till i actually get a chance to thumb through the book in question.

Oh and the "Ochs School" Lichtenhauer dvd, a good deal. Helped me a lot on my German school understanding

I think Lindholms interpretation is MUCH better that Toblers. From someone who practices this stuff in an enviroment where you can grapple, hit below the shin, throw, pommel strike, ect- and in an enviroment where the effectiveness of armor is taken into consideration, its fantastic. He really knows his stuff. His previous Ringeck book is top notch too. Id say its a must have. ***** 5 stars

David Lindholm also has another new book, Fighting with the Querterstaff: A Modern Study of Renaissance Technique that is published by Chivalry Bookshelf.
