The Barony of Sacred Stone proudly welcomes one and all to the Coronation of Ragnarr and Anneke, for three days and nights of revelry, celebration, combat, cavalry, classes, archery, feasting, dancing & youth activities. Site: Betsy-Jeff Penn 4-H Center, 804 Cedar Lane, Reidsville, NC 27320. Site opens at 7 PM Friday, September 1 and closes at 10 AM on Monday, September 4.

Restrictions: Pets permitted only on a leash. Fires allowed in only designated areas (pre-existing fire pits). You may bring stoves and the like for cooking. However, no food may be cooked or prepared in the cabins. Swim in the lake at your own risk, no lifeguard is on duty. Alcohol is permitted on site for those over the age of 21. Please be prepared to take your empties and trash home with you. It is advisable if you have a cart to bring it with you for loading and unloading, as parking directly by the cabins is prohibited.

Martial Activities: The tournament will be a team format. Each team must be compromised of a rapier combatant, an armored combatant, and youth combatant. When all three fights are completed, the team with two or more wins receives the point. There will also be a 3-man heavy team tournament. Each fight will be one on one with only one Knight allowed per team. Additional fighting is also planned for Sunday; check the event website for additional details. A&S Activities: The Tempore Atlantia competition will cover the years 1250 to 1492. There will be classes, demos, dancing and several competitions including Best use of the Unicorn and/or Lion, Best use of the Fleur de Lis, and a new TA competition for Best piece of Metal Casting. Freiherrin Susanna will be coordinating all A&S activities. Please check the event website for additional details on the air-conditioned dance hall, additional TA competitions, and artisan demos under pavilions. Feast: Count Valharic Aurelius will prepare Saturday night’s feast held in the air-conditioned main hall. Seating is limited to 175 for $8 per seat. A Below the Salt feast served on Saturday in the rec hall for $6 per seat with a maximum seating of 125. Sunday night’s feast in the air-conditioned main hall prepared by Lady Graciela is $5 per seat with seating for 175. Cost: All prices are for all three days. NMS Surcharge of $3/person will apply without proof of membership. Children 6 to 12 years of age are half price, except for cabin pricing. All children under the age of 5 are guests of the Barony.
Day Trip: $10 before August 21st - $12 thereafter Hotels convenient to site (<6 mi.)
On Site: $15 before August 21st - $17 thereafter Period or Modern tenting welcome
Cabins: $25 before August 21st - $30 thereafter
Cabins have their own showers and bathrooms. Beds are available in groups of 2, 4, and 8.
Cabin space is limited to 208 and these are expected to fill up quickly. Those day-tripping and tenting are encouraged to pre-register to get the discounted rate.

Equestrian Activities: There will be Cavalry tournaments following the theme of the event.
