Known World Baronial Champions Tournament (PENNSIC)

This past week at Pennsic the Known World Baronial Champion's Tournament took place for the fifth (?) time. The format consisted of open fighting amongst the attendees watched and judged by the assembled Baronesses of the gallery, and two pagent style questions. This year's questions were:
1) What, if any, are the benefits of being the lady of a Baronial Champion?
2) Of the seven knightly virtues (list given) which is the LEAST important.
In a very tightly contested field of 17 champions, Master Magnus carried the day. His responses, excellent presentation, and use of period pole ax techniques impressed the ladies of the gallery enough that he was given the baldric.
If you are, or know, a baronial champion, be sure to recommend them to this tournament for next year. It was a great time!
