Midrealm visit this weekend

i am going to be in chicago this weekend and was thinking about bringing my armor. any suggestions on some practices, events, or just getting together in the yard for some fighting?

There is a small practice on Sunday at about 2pm at the University of Chicago, at Ida Noyes Hall.

If the weather is good we fight on the lawn outside. It is a beautiful site.

If you are gonna show I can get the word out and some of the more interesting locals may show.

I have heard rumor of a Pas at the Middle Kingdom Academy of Defense event about 1-1/2 to 2 hours northwest of Chicago. See this thread:

No practice at Ida on the 3rd! We'll be at MKAOD! See Kevin's post above for info.

actually i have been in contact with kenwrec about that event. im just into pas and was looking for a chance to just do some fighting with some people i dont get to visit with often enough. are there any local people interested in doing some fighting that, perhaps, are not going to the event?

oops. disregard the question in the pm nissan, i hadnt checked here first. i will plan on attending the event then and hopefully we can do some regular old sca fighting. :wink:
