Fight For Kids / Champions of Virtue 2007 update

Guys,
I needed to post an update on the Champions of Virtue thing for this coming year. Not much has happened on my end, except for time passing.
The way that this is going to work is that each fighter will pick a philanthropic organization fight a thousand fights at Pennsic this coming year. Each fighter will solicit sponsors to donate a set amount of money per fight, like a penny, a nickel or a dime. I very strongly suggest that you cap donations at a dime, as the last time I did this, not a single sponsor over a dime was able to actually honor their pledge.
I also strongly suggest that you pick one of the philanthropic organizations' "in house" charities. By that I mean a charity that the philanthropic already supports.
The sponsoring philanthropic organization will collect the money, and the fighter who raises the most money for their charity will be declared the Champion of Virtue for 2007. Only Pennsic counts this year, two years from now, things might be different. I am looking for other folks who might be interested in running this with me.
So far we have six fighters signed up. I am not positive of that number, because I have yet to find the paperwork since I have moved.
If you want to be a champion, you must find your sponsoring organization (I am recommending the VFW) and start lining up your sponsors.
