Here's a picture from Pas at the Schola Saint George June Symposium. I am the big fellow in blue and that's Brian Price the author of TOMAR sparring with me. And before you panic this is our WMA school. Still it was a great fight. I dropped my poleaxe and grabbed Brian's. He could not reach the dagger behind his back so he elected to go with the strike. Quite effective I must say.

Robert Of Cantebury and a new made man at arms from spain at Winchester Pilgrimage III. What makes this inspiring you say? The spanish guy was holding his own against some of the best fighters in Drachenwald and had NEVER BEEN TO A SINGLE FIGHTER PRACTICE! He is completly self taught from watching YOU TUBE AND PELLWORK.

Here are two great action pics taken by Esmeralda of the Lakes.

First one is of Uther and Brand McClellan during the finals at the West Kingdom's June Crown tournament this year (2008):

It took this picture for me to realy see how big my guy Gwydion is.
I am not tall at a little under 5'8 and change, But I weigh 220 and have a near 50 in chest.
It realy looks like David vs Goliath.
Soon we will have a maile shirt on him, new hat, shoes and shynbalds, then he will be gian and dead sexy amd still damn huge.
His second tourney and he walks away Baronessa's champion.

Shameless addition yes...
but... it is also living proof that you can put together a good looking kit on a college students budget.

I am not sure whether these photos are relevant because they are no where near as impressive as most of the ones on here but I thought I would offer them up for inspection because I quite like them:

This is one of mainly my wife, the only member of the heavy armour unit to not have heavy armour and probably weighs a lot less in her full kit than most of us do naked, she is like a tigeress.

In this battle she dislocated her thumb and bit it back into place to carry on fighting and not leave a gap in the line.
