Any AA'ers at Artemesia's Uprising war who had a camera and used it?

Since, I'm hoping to relocate there, Uprising will be my 'local' I'd love to see some photos!

Probably Victor ID, depending on a job I'm trying to get in Jackson WY.

Ever been there? There's a vicious mountain pass between Victor and Jackson. I wouldn't want to commute in winter.

Of course, the glitterati have priced Jackson out of reach of the former locals, so maybe they have improved the road over Teton pass since when I haunted the area. Jackson used to be such a nice town...

Uprising was great! The fighting in and among all the props was a good time, though it was pretty warm by Rocky Mountain standards. We had right at 900 people there. We'll look forward to seeing you there next year, Sean.

By the by, the Teton Pass has indeed been upgraded and isn't too bad. The view from the top is spectactular! But prices are still high, with the Billionaires driving out the millionaires.....

Yes I have. The pass is closed a few days each winter. But on those days you are generally excused from work, from what I understand. Plus I'd be able to work from home.

Jackson is way priced out. Over in Victor you can get a LOT more for your money.

BTW I've had a daydream of having a Pas d' Pass it would be really cool to have a tourney at the top. "None Shall Pass!" There is pretty ample parking up there actually for a small gathering of fighters....

I had a look at google maps satellite view. I appears they have built a new road over since I was a lad. Check out the "old pass road": about 12 hairpins and a 6 or 7% grade.

Back then, Jackson was a small tourist town, catering to Grand Teton, Yellowstone and the ski runs. Now, it's for the trendy who are too shishi for Vail or Sun Valley. I hope the same culture vultures never find Island Park.
