ISO impressions- aglet comparison

Who here has made points using the aglets available from Revival/Chivalry Bookshelf? I've only used the ones from Historic Enterprises, about which I have no complaints, but I'm curious how they compare. The former seem a little heavier-duty, plus they appear to come with pre-drilled holes for sewing through the lace, both of which would be an advantage for arming use vs. civilian. They look like they might take a slightly fatter lace as well, but it's hard to get a sense of scale in the photos.
