Searching the web for reputable / affordable flat ring rivited mail.

Stainless or mild, just has to be of good construction. Used is fine, but looking for something a little lighter than the 30lb mail hauberk I currently have....if it can be found. Any info will be welcomed.

Icefalcon and Historic Enterprises are the best I know of. I just got a haubergeon of another type from Icefalcon and have nothing but the best to report from the transaction, and have bought clothes from HE in the past and would do so again (and readily!) if I hadn't just blown all my money on fancy maille.

Oh, and where in NC are you? I'm in the process of trying to relocate to the Duke area (the ladyfriend is starting grad school there), and haven't had a chance to make contact with the SCA group there yet.

Thanks for the ideas. Ice Falcon does have a very good product...I will have to save up a bit though, to buy new....

However, I live in the Barony near Duke University. The Barony of Wind Masters Hill. PM me and I can get you the Barony's web info.

Hey Dan,

I have a lot of gear in stock and usually try to keep a good stock. Give me a buzz when you are ready.

Cheers!

About how much does a medium haubergeon weigh? And how far past the waist will it go for someone about 5'9"?

Medium is about 16 lbs or so. It should go down to about mid thigh.
