I PMed Ruthardus to ask if he would A. Permit me to ship this one back and make me another one if it did not fit and B. if he would include some extra rings for the butted mail to hold me until I could get a mandrel set up to match the rings. He replied promptly that yes, he could do both, so I was able to purchase absolutely worry free. Thanks man!
It got here today. It fit like it was custom made for me! I gotta say it IS gorgeous in person, but what has impressed me the most is how STOUT it is. I mean brick house solid! I have it strapped and padded and my son has struck me several telling blows. They left nary a mark on it.
So, for the Frieman scale (if i recall these right)
