SOLD: Matched 5' Longswords with Windrose Fittings

Post by Jehan de Pelham »

These are a pair of matched longswords. Overall length is just at 5', with a generous 12" of pommel to serve your needs. Blade length is about 4'. These swords have the top of the line Windrose large pommels and large crossguards, with the two-handed thrusting tips installed. These are still in the box from Haus Atzinger, and would be a great set for a special deed of arms or tournament. The hardware alone is worth $300 new on this set.

$350 shipped. PM me if interested.

They are identical to the 6 footers, except shorter. I'll attach a photo of the 6 footers here for comparison--the 5 footers are in the box right next to the six footers.

Sir Vitus, do these have the leather edging as the 6 footers?

I opened up the boxes enough to take a look at the swords. They do not have the thick leather edging that the 6 footers have. It isn't like a strip of leather couldn't be laid down the striking edges and then taped over if you want. As they are, they are a little lighter than the 6 footers, and with them still being two handed swords, these will be fiercely quick.

Best,

John

Right- I left off the edging to make them faster.

Le Bumpage. I know that someone is going to be looking for a nice set of swords before Gulf Wars or 12th Night or something, and these will ship immediately upon payment.

Best,
