FS/FT:Fencing Gear

Post by Seaan O'Hagan »

Hey all, We've got this fencing gear sitting on the shelf gathering dust. Time to give it a new home! We'd be looking to trade for a simple helm, perhaps a conical or other heavy list gear. Otherwise I've also added sale prices in case we can't find someone willing to swap.

Popinjays fencing dagger-This has never been used.-$75

Tripplette mask- this has seen several practices and tournaments. It comes witha leather drape to make it totally SCA kosher.-$40

Two-Layer Bull Denim Tunic- Rubika style, also has seen several practices and tournaments, but is well made and still in good shape.-$25

Pictures available upon request....I'm having trouble getting the posting feature to work properly.

Very interested, need to see some pictures, though.

Edit:
My Google-fu is failing me. What blade does the Dagger have? I want to make sure it is legal here.

Which Trip mask is it? Any dents or dings?

Thanks,
Milan

I've sent e-mails to everybody who requested info, please let me know if they didn't make it through.

Q: Model of mask- I'm not sure what model it is other than that is is made by tripplette. My wife got it as part of their starter kit. It is in good shape. No dents and a minor scuff in the paint near the brow, probably caused by a piece of tape from a fencing melee.

Q-Dagger Blade- My wife tells me that the blade is a rectangular-profile foil blade. It was made to be used in the SCA two years ago or so. We've been out of the loop for a bit, but I would be surprised if it isn't still legal.

If I can provide any more info, please feel fre to post here, PM or e-mail.
