In the sca, there are no rules against wearing plaque belts (We're all supposed to be representing nobility) but white belts are unique to peers. Keep pushing the bar up for appearance. No one will hate you for it (except for the haters).

I love the plaques at the bottom of the page on your site. If only your belts were adjustable so I could wear it in or out of armor. :(

We're making plaque belts too, though ours will be assembled in a steppes culture kinda way rather than medieval per se. This is cast in a mold carved from soapstone by hand. The plaques are colored with enamel paint.They're made of pewter.
