I received prompt responses to all of my PMs, typically within a day, sometimes within an hour or so. I'd say he consistantly met and exceeded my expectations here.
I ordered it on Monday the 16th, it arrived on the Friday after Thanksgiving. It was in stock, so I expected prompt shipping. Given the holiday, and the fact that it came USPS, I'm perfectly satisfied with the time frame in which it arrived. Honestly, I can't believe he sells an aventail this nice for the price. When attached to my helm just beneath the eyes, it will stretch down over my shoulders. Outstanding! Very light weight, too, for the size. I've not fought in it, but I do not forsee any issues there. I got in on the Armour Stimulus Sale, which basically amounted to free shipping for this particular item, so it was a sweet deal on an excellent aventail. (Thanks Your Grace!)
I think I'll forgo the Frieman/ Enhanced Frieman scales, in light of the recent thread. Suffice it to say I was dealing with Icefaclon Armoury, an entity which I consider to be the role model for SCA armouries, and received the level of customer service that one would expect for a well established and venerable business. You know... the kind that would keep a guy in business for years and years
