I plan on buying some Christmas gifts for myself this year and I'm looking at getting my new persona off the ground.
I'm going to be looking for Ottoman garb, about 1453 hehe....I've got idea's for the armour in the works. Anyone have a good resource or willing to possible take comissions on some decent garb for this period/place.???
Thanks.

I see many many sites of folks who make custom/off the shelf clothing for most of Europe during this time, is there noone who does these things for Ottoman clothing?

My couterier, Mistress Cristobal degli Glicini che Mangia Uome, is starting to offer some off-the-rack Osmanli clothing, as well as the the custom stuff.
1540s civilian

This one is all appliqued silk. Lots of silk.
We need to do an actual photo shoot - these cheesy snapshots don't do the clothing justice, and I don't have good photos of the dress yeniceri uniform (antique Syrian brocade - the last time I found any for sale, it was $250/meter - she paid considerbly less than that - finding rare fabrics for obscenely low prices is her 'stupid peer trick')
PM me and I'll pass along her contact info. No website yet, but soon hopefully.
