Selling my anodized brass aircraft aluminum lamellar from http://www.eldesar.com/.

I am 6'5" tall, 230lb, looking for $425 or best offer. Lacing it took forever.

There are approximately 550 plates in this suit, and I also have around 85 spare plates that were not used in it that I would send with it.

To buy these plates new would cost around $415 bucks or so, then you get the fun task of lacing them all together, but this time the work is done for you! Unless you want to alter it of course.

The most current picture I have of the rig at the bottom left hand corner. I've relaced it a few times trying to find how to make it the most comfortable.

Changes from that picture are that one of the rows above the belt line has been moved to bellow the belt line to extend it a bit. This suit also has a belt strip laced into it so that you can put your belt on, and it won't fall off all the time, and it also enables you to bend at the waist a lot better instead of pretending to be the Tin Man.

I've got a friend who I think would gladly kill for your 2007 kit. Anyway, if you're still trying to sell your lamellar when he gets back, I'll send him the link.
Added plus, he's your height as well.

I think it's about 8 lbs.

I doubt you'd have to tailor it much, the shoulder straps adjust, may need to add some of the bonus plates to the sides? I dunno your build.

I'm not interested in a trade currently, it's selling so I can buy stuff. heh

New price on this is $425 since all I want is to replace it with other plates I don't need a profit.

I think that's bellow the cost of the plates alone.

Sorry, I missed that. With the 85 extra its still 412.75. I did'nt mean to say anything, I just saw that you said it was cheaper than thhe actual cost of the plates. ck with your sale, its a very nice vest!

You mean bottom right hand corner for the pic, right?

Where does it open/close?left side?

It looks like you're wearing it over mail in that 2009 pic. Is that right? So it is sized big for you?

Bottom right

Both sides, it has 1 buckle on each side, then a strip where you put a belt for the final spot.

It's not really big for me, there's a small amount of overlap with the chain.
