first, the dem ca stopped by at gulf wars and inspected our wood grain arrows for combat archery. for some unknown reason there was apparently some question raised regarding whether they would be legal or not. needless to say, they are perfectly legal and have been passed.

we will be placing an order for them in the near future and once they are in stock we will be spreading the word to let folks know. i have had several inquiries from europe and austrailia from folks interested in being our wholesale supply in those parts of the world and if a decision is made to do that we will also let folks know. once they arrive you will be able to get them from ebonwoulfe or icefalcon armories.

now for the shipping deal. this applies to spears ordered this week. i received an email from my fedex rep on saturday that ebonwoulfe armory will enjoy a 20% discount on all domestic shipments this week to encourage our loyalty and business. i thought that was pretty cool so for any spear orders during that time we will pass that savings along.

and finally, we currently have stainless cup hilts, spears, and icefalcon spear tip kits in stock and ready to ship. wood grain arrows, lamellar, and aluminum hilts are in production and we will send out updates as soon as they are in stock and ready to go.

His grace doesn't have any more thick walled spears, I still have a bunch of them available. How many do you need?

we only carry one thickness now. however, what i did learn is that fiberglas comes in 6 grades of strength. those grades are determined by the angle of the fibers as they are pulled into shape. for example, our 1/4" solid rod wood grain arrows are made to the highest grade just like our spears. the lowest grade of 1/4" solid rod at 24" will flex around 15 degrees before catastrophic failure, the highest grade (like ours) can go nearly tip to tip without even holding a slight curve when released.

i stress tested one of our new spears and after about 40 flat snaps trying to break it i gave up.

our price is $40 and right now i am passing along the 20% shipping discount that fedex is giving me so one spear comes in around $16 to ship with each additional one, up to 7, only adding a few extra dollars. we also have plenty of tip kits in stock and ready to ship as well.
