Review: Gambeson by JollyKnight

Hello!
This past weekend I received a gambeson that I ordered from Alexander (JollyKnight) about two months ago. I sent him money via Western Union for a helmet some time prior and changed my mind a few times because I was still developing my persona... He was very patient and cool with me. The entire transaction's communication took place via Facebook.
I really love the gambeson! It's made from layered linen and is about a quarter of an inch thick before compression. It's patterned after an image he had that puts the design c. 1360 or so. It is very well constructed and the stitching is precise, and the edges finished beautifully with overlapping material to form a rigidness in the material that I admire for an arming garment. The fit is awesome, and I can't complain about it at all. It hugs my torso, my arms and is just right around the neck. The almost non-existent excess material is a mark of very fine patterning on Alexander's part, I think! The flexibility is also great, and the garment breathes well despite being quite thick... I can't say it's not hot, though. I've been sitting around in it for about half an hour and I'm slowly roasting alive, but that's happened with any heavy material I've worn such as this, so I can't count that against Alexander.
Pictures are worth a thousand words, so I'll just attach one of those! I also got a pair of gamboised cuisses to match, which are equally well made, but they're several inches too long on me so I didn't bother taking any pictures with them on. After I alter them I'll share some more information and images of them!
Cheers!
