I bought these about a year ago from Al and while they are well made and exactly what I asked for I decided to go a completely different route with my kit.

Before the blackened process the Greaves are $134 and the Vambraces are $99.

I will let them go for $200 plus shipping.

These have never been worn and have set quietly in the back of my armor closet.

The measurements:

Greaves:

Length from tip to bottom is 17 1/4"
Width across the bottom is 13 1/2"
Width at the widest part is 19 1/2"

Vambraces:

Length from tip to cuff 11"
Width across the cuff 11"
Width at widest point is 13 3/4"

I will consider offers and trades for these.

I am looking for an aluminum kite shield and leather/splinted cuisses.

I also have some matching knees and elbows. We can PM if there is interest, but I only have a phone camera to take pictures of them as my wife has both of ours with her and the kids visiting relatives for the week.

I was thinking of getting a set of those greaves and doing the very same thing. I ran out of time before pennsic happens.

Consider breaking the set?

What would you offer for the greaves? They would be $134 new without the cost of blackening? When would you need to receive them by in order to use for Pensic, as I would need to ship them as I am not going.

I will go $120 for the greaves and $80 for the vambraces. I realize that isn't much of the price new, but keep in mind that they have never been used and I believe it was 15% for the blackening process.

After consideration I think I'll save my money for stuff at pennsic.

Good luck with your sale

However, if nobody else buys them I'll be happy to reconsider a paycheck or two after pennsic is over with.

Keep in touch, I do not think these will be a fast selling item. It is one of those things you have to specifically want I imagine. :)

Dang it! I would have to be short of disposable income! I hope they find a good home.
