a question of interest

Hello all!

I've been on AA for a bit and would like to pose a question to the "populace"... My wife has been practicing the craft of "Tablet Weaving" for more than 3-4 years. And recently, we saw a post from a member named "Yvette" advertising the very same craft. My question is this, Is there an interest here on AA for hand-woven trims and belts to the extent of "another" such artisan to be appreciated? Will/can post pics of prior works if requested. She can do simple trims to complex, double faced, brocades, and inscriptions. Just to let you know the extent of her AWESOMENESS! LOL!
Hope to hear soon your responses!

I would be interested in getting a price quote on a woven belt with my motto in German or Latin in it.

The Eletrical wireing diagrams get more intresting when you start looking at used industreal equipment and small stepper motors.

I would have liked it if you had contacted me first but that is just me... :?... and I would love to talk to your wife.... and see what we can work out to try and make sure we can both offer different yet similar items and maybe even work together...

I am also hoping at trying to make at least a partial living at this....

Looking forward to hearing from you

Since it was My idea to write the post on AA, I feel that I should respond to you directly about your post...
You stated that you would of like for me to "contacted you first"...? Forgive me if I misunderstood what you meant, and this is after reading it a few times, it seemed like you implied that permission was necessary... If offence was taken, that was not the intent and apologizes are given, but there's plenty of room here for more than one weaver... As what I wrote, I was gauging the populace. I've been watching the board for a bit and I've seen plenty of armourers advertise their wares and receive praise from their fellow artisan on their work. Do not feel threatened by the possible addition of someone that shares the same craft as you. As I see it, there is plenty of room on AA without stepping on each others toes...

I would like some feed-back if there was any interest. If there's a need for pics to be posted, I could get some together. She doesn't keep track of pics of prior projects that well... Let me know what you all think...

I'd eventually be looking for a pair of buckled garters to wear with my hosen, once I've collected a paycheck or two in the next month.

Armorers don't check with anyone else before posting about their stuff being for sale. ;)
