The time has come to sell off this beauty of a helm and pay some bills.

It was custom made by Waldryk for my 23" head and is designed to be low-profile. Never had any trouble getting enough padding into it.

Weighing in at 10 lbs., it's heavy enough to soak impact without being so heavy you feel like you might break your neck if you bow to anyone. I have never even come close to having my bell rung in this helm.

It's 14ga. stainless all over with twice that thickness on the Thor's hammer cross pieces where the plates overlap and on the ocular and cheek plates where a layer of brass is attached to the steel. Very solid construction, riveted throughout.

The grill is welded stainless bar stock.

The slat back provides excellent ventilation, the eye slots allow an enormous visual range, and the placement of the cheek plates makes it very easy to hear what's going on around you.

Gently used, this helm is in excellent condition. It has a mirror finish that polishes up beautifully, only a few superficial scratches (which could be easily buffed out), and no dents. I will leave my chin strap and foam padding underlayer in place for you to do with as you wish.

Fully SCA legal and has always easily passed inspection.

Originally over $800, I'm asking for $400 to send my lovely helmet to a good new home where it will get lots of playtime.

Message me with your city, state and zip code, and I will send you a shipping quote. I ship USPS Priority Mail or FedEx, whichever ends up less expensive.

Thanks! :)

I'm willing to go down to $350 on this, not because it's not an awesome helm, but because it really needs to go live somewhere besides my house. :)
