I am in process of making two ecranche shields for jousting. One is spoken for, and the other needs a home.

These shields are made for jousting with ANY type of lance and are made from triple birch before they are coated with layer after layer of epoxy. They are basically indestructable, as many users can attest. It will probably be the only jousting shield you ever need- ever.

Below are pics so that you get an idea of size and shape. For those people who cannot figure it out, these pics have ben taken BEFORE any epoxy has been applied. The finished product ships out with a coat of plain white primer so that you can paint your arms on it with ease.I can include straps and felt backing for an additional charge.

AGAIN, these pics are of the shield before I begin to coat it. It's too cold to lay epoxy right now.

Worth every damn penny! If you want a shield that will outlast you, this is the one to buy. I loved jousting with Vitus' shields.
