Wanted: Shovel Greaves

Hello,

I am looking to purchase a pair of shovel greaves. I've been doing a lot of internet searching for shovel greaves and it seems that I can only find a few that are SCA legal, with Torvaldr's shovel greaves at the top of the list. I really like his, but I was hoping to find something in aluminum or steel that might be similar to what Torvaldr offers.

Also, as I've never actually worn greaves with an integrated knee cop, I was wondering if anyone who has fought in a pair like that could tell me how well they protect the knee when you are fighting on your knees? My concern is that it won't protect the leg just above the knee while in a kneeling position, like the greaves I found at Truehearth.
