Fencing buckler

16 ga stainless body covered with upholstery weight green leather. Handle made from 18 ga. mild steel. Leather is contact cemented on and then riveted with stainless dome head rivets.

The grip just fits my hands (I wear an X-L glove).

I have two of these on hand. Price is $50 each with CONUS shipping included.

If there is interest, I can make more.

Some place on this site there's a thread with a manuscript image, I believe from a fencing manual, showing just this kind of shield. Of course, now when I could really use it, I cannot find it ;)

I'll be staying home this coming weekend. With house renovations, getting ready for Pennsic, etc. I have too much to do.

These two are sold. Naturally, I can make more.

Found the references I had been looking for. This sort of buckler is shown in both DiGrassi and Marozzo and is suitable for late 16th century.
