Winter Tree Crafts Splinted leg harness ver 2.0!

As promised, I re-did the design for my splinted legs as my previous cuisses were a little too munitions grade for my liking and the poleyns were a little round and bulbous.
I am very happy to present them to the community and offer them for sale via commission.
The poleyn now has better lines and shaping IMO (This is my personal leg-harness so I left my poleyns a little less planished because I like the look) and the cuisse has been totally re-worked. The plates now overlap each other and form a cone rather than a cylinder to better fit the thigh. Each cuisse also has something like 60 rivets in a staggered pattern. Compared to my last pattern, these things are extremely rigid and tank blows extremely well with minimal stinging to the thigh.
I have also just finished my prototype at a set of splinted greaves and they are being worn in these pics as well. I have a few bugs to iron out on the greaves and will be offering them for sale through my website as soon as I make the final (for now) design revisions. Price will be in the neighborhood of $275 per pair.
As always, all leather is 9/10 oz english bridle and all steel components are 1050 heat-treated carbon steel. The poleyn is .050" (18 gauge) and all splints are .040" (20 gauge)These legs are VERY LIGHT. The leather weighs far more than the steel parts and the steel parts take tremendous abuse without denting or bending out of shape. All buckles are hand-made welded steel and left black from the fire.
Price for a custom-built pair of leg harness exactly as shown here would be $725.
