If anyone else is thinking about picking up one of the "Track of the Wolf early Scottish ballock style dirks". I think there are a couple of things that you should know.
1) they are unsharpened. not just dull but whith a 1/16" flat edge that takes considerable work to get to a basic appleseed edge.
2) the carving is rough and needs clean-up. The orbs are roundish, but not round. I wound-up chiseling out the little V-notch at the base of the blade to make the orbs look more round.
3) there is no sheath or scabbard.
4) A minor complaint, but it seems to have some sort of stain or finish on it, that gave it a flat dark look. It came off with a minimal amount of sanding (which was partially done from smoothing out the lumpy balls) and looks very good with a simple wax.

I'm happy with the purchase from Yojimbo. He took a hit on the price when passing it on, and I feel that it was worth what I paid. But if you are looking for a knife with a sharp edge out of the box and a scabbard, you're not going to get it with this.
I've noted that they are on sale for $29.99 and if you don't mind a little work, I do think it's about worth that price. (A good unsharpened blank will cost you about $20+shipping).

Thanks go to Yojimbo for passing his on. He shipped superfast and I'm happy to add this to my collection.

Cian was also great to work with. He gave me 5 extra bucks on top of my asking price for paypal fees n shipping without asking.
Ballock looks great now. I agree with Cian. I paid 40+8 shipping...too much for the crew work, but it was the only one out there.
Track of wolf was easy and super fast also.
