Probably wouldn't be a good fit for you. Finger padding I don't think would fit.

Gotcha...what would appropriate padding be?

I wear a pair of Torvaldr Gaunts just like this and I simply use impact padded mechanics gloves. I have had a couple of good hand shots over the years and no damage to show.

I would try to get gauntlets that would fit with minimal padding if needed. Mylec glove thickness. I've seen some who have used mouse pad cut up and put in places.
