I saw a thread here a few days back and it reminded me that posting this here might see someone interested.

I had this sword commissioned from A&A and it has seen no cutting - only dry handling and practicing cuts in the air. It is a blade from their catalog #034 - the Black Prince with a bronze cross from the same sword, and a bronze hexagonal pommel from their #089 12th Century Sword. As to style and design cues, I was aiming for late 14th, early 15th century Italian.

I've been in a cleaning mode for a while now, and as I've told myself I would only bring some new tools into the shed if unused ones left to make a place, this sword is up for sale.

I like the bronze hardware and the octogonal pommel (I noticed a couple of UK brasses and effigies have similar shaped pommels from about 1365+; See reginald de cobham). I already have the standard BP, otherwise I'd snatch that up.
The BP is my favorite sword. I love the Albions, but the A&A BP is just great to swing and thrust. I have to will myself to put it down. A&A spent a good deal of time copying the details of the original, and you can really see the appeal of the design once you hold the sword. But be warned, you might not want to put it down.

The pictures do not do this sword justice. This is one extremely awesome sword and I'll have to check Jon to see if he took a head wound because I was sure that he would never let this go (especially for that price!)

The standard one sells for around $800 with shipping. With the custom bronze hardware, this has to be pushing a $300 discount. Like I say, if I didn't already have a BP, it would be mine.

Andy, thanks for your interest! I've kind of got my short lists together right now (on this and a few other fronts), so at least for now, I would prefer to handle this as a sale rather than trade. Your stuff has been coming along very nicely these days!
