Pieces of mild steel Gothic plate SOLD

Post by Vitus von Atzinger »

This is a set of Gothic plate pieces made by MacKenzie-Smith about 15 years ago. They will fit a medium-sized person.

Set includes vambraces, rerebraces and quisses. They need cleaning and one of the cuisses needs some re-shaping.

But hey, you won't have to do all that fluting to get some Gothic armour.

All the pieces sold as a set.

$60 plus shipping paid by you.

First pic are the vanbraces and rerebraces.

Dibs - can I get measurements on the vambraces? Length and circumference at the largest spot of the forearm?

The bottom plate of the vambrace is 7 1/2" long. I measured across the widest part of the opening (with the top plate locked in place) and that measurement was 4 3/4" across. This was not the part where the wrist meets the hand, but across the place where the fat part of the forearm is near the elbow cop. I don't have a tailor's tape so couldn't take a circumference.
