Hi,
I am a novice fighter, Ideally going into combat archery but some sword too.
I'm 5'8" and 160lbs
I have NOTHING... not even pants as all I have are dresses right now!
and I apparently have a very small head

SEEKING some other woman out there who wants to sell me her kit, or parts from it.

Have you thought about making some of the clothing bits yourself? As a female fighter I found it far easier to make the clothing myself than to try to get something other than dresses from resellers. As for the armour, can't help you there. Good Luck and have fun.

It would probably work as armour, but it is in no way similar to anything 15th c. I don't know how important the date is in the decision. This appears to be a standard conglomeration of an earlier helmet and body armour with SCA style arms and legs of no particular period. And the arms and legs appear to be uncovered plastic which is a no-no in Atlantia.

As Kenwrec said if you give a location some locals could help. I am in Northern Utah (Got our first snow yesterday- no spring or fall this year) and my wife and I could help with clothing, armour and such.

If you have no one near by let us know and we can figure something out.

I expect that she isn't local to any where near Utah, but it is up to her to share location if she wishes. I also expect that some people at an event this weekend can help start guiding a direction.

Anyway, decode what you want a little more closely - what part of the 15th century, influenced by German or Italian styles of arms, and how much you really care about a precise period or whether you want something good for fighting/combat archery and less trouble and expense to do reasonably and we can help.

There are a number of armourers (myself included) who have either built, or even specialized, in making armour for women. Giving us a location you are in (even if it's just a state or region) can help us to guide you to an armourer who can help you with the kit you want. Off the top of my head I know of a couple of armourer in the Texas area, on in the DC area, one in the WA area and one in CA. I'm certain we can find someone to direct you to and perhaps even a pattern or two to help you one your way.

Just doing some browsing for miniatures and reenactment groups, it seems an oddity for the 15th c swiss to wear leg armor or really anything covering them below the waist besides joined hosen.
Many images show them with red hosen. Several have them with white crosses applied.
This following link about half way down addresses the "look" of 15th century dress with some links to some contemporary to the period artwork and speculations. It is information gathered for miniature war gaming, but appears relevant.

Also, about 3/4's of the way down on this page has references for 15th century Swiss appearance. See "Swiss Cantons". It has line drawings supposedly based off of extent sources which it references.

As an aside; If my significant other were walking around in tight joined hosen, I would lose my mind. She'd have to pick another persona, or I'd have to go do another hobby. OR poke out the eyes of every guy that checks out her buns in joined hosen.

If you want to do a specific impression from the ground up, you're probably better off doing it yourself or getting help rather than just trying to buy up armor from other women. Same gender doesn't guarantee a good fit. There's a lot of good advice here on the Archive about how to do a specific time period on a budget with hidden armor and a good soft kit. The Girl's Club is great if you need info on building armor for women because we have a pretty good demographic of sizes and shapes, but it's not that much different than building armor for individual guys.
