Greetings All -
Has anyone ever come across brass or bronze belt mounts in the style worn by John of Eltham, Earl of Cornwall?

The larger ones.
I thought that one of the Ukranian armourers had some, but either I was mistaken or they removed all belt mounts from their website. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Dimension-wise, mounts s/b ideally no larger than 7/8" or 23 mm to fit a 1-1/8" belt blank.

Re: Looking for Belt Mounts
Thanks Cet - Sorry I missed your response earlier when I was updating my size restrictions. A&C does have some nice stuff. This one in particular is pretty close to what I'm looking for.

However, I'm looking for something w/out the flower in the middle, but a solid center for possible enameling.
(Might have included that bit in the original message. My bad.)
Another view of what I'm looking for. http://effigiesandbrasses.com/monuments ... 189/large/

Re: Looking for Belt Mounts
You'll probably have to commission someone to cast them for you. Armor and Castings do custom work, and so does a user on here with the name "Castings".
If you get them custom made then you can have them in the perfect size and shape and not have to make any concessions.

Re: Looking for Belt Mounts
Thanks. That's def. a consideration. I'm just searching around to see if there was a source I'd missed.
At one point I even sculpted up a master using super sculpty & considered casting them myself in pewter. But for durability sake, I would prefer to have them cast in bronze or brass.
