In trying to prepare for Pennsic, I find myself in need of animal hides (bear, antelope, WOLF, coyote, and caribou). I am willing to make splinted stainless-on-leather legs and arms, knee or elbow cops, shoulders, or any of the above in mild steel. For most bang-for-your-buck trade, the order of prices on hides from most expensive to least is:
Brown bear w/head
Wolf
Black bear w/head
Bear
Coyote
Antelope
Caribou
Email me or post a reply-- armor WILL be finished and shipped before Pennsic.

Man, I threw away a box full of hides a few months back...
rabbits, antelope, deer, nutria, coon..and probably a few I don't even remember. My wife just doesn't have the same decorating taste as me
!
I still have a large beaver pelt...but I'll never part with that! I have a nutria or two around...but those are a far cry from anything on your list! You could stitch a bunch together and say it was a mangy wolf !?

Arghhh,
It's too bad that when hides are plentiful, orders are not. Winter in snowy climes sees the finest quality pelts, as the animals naturally grow thicker and more lush coats to combat the decreased temperatures. I had several Coyote pelts from this last winter's hunts. No use crying over spilled milk though.
