The great garage cleanout continues – This weeks offerings on e(vil)Bay include Leather and Kydex Body & Leg Armor, Ken Zicker Stainless Legs, a nice plate gorget, some Merc Tailor shoulder cops and other misc stuff.

Here is how I am going to do this. I’ve had a few people here on the AA bitch at me because I post my stuff on e(vil)Bay and don’t give people here a crack at it first. I honestly don’t care if you want to bitch at me over the internet- type away - that's why God made the delete key

I have sold some stuff here successfully in the past, other times I have had them “dibbed” and never heard from the person again and frankly I just don’t have the time to actively monitor and keep track of auctions here on the AA especially with multiple items. But this sort of stuff I am selling appeals specifically to this audience and as a member of this online community I want to share back with the AA the chance to buy the stuff that I often bought here to begin with

What I am going to do is this. I am going to put a list of stuff up here that is for sale on eBay. I have put on all my listings “Subject to Local Sale”. If you are interested in a piece, you can either bid it on eBay or you can PM me an offer here on the AA. If I like your offer I will just sell to you directly. I am not OBLIGATED to take anyone’s offer here, but I would rather see it go to this community rather than disappear into wherever old SCA armor goes… (apparently old storage lockers from what I’ve been seeing). I am also open to trades as well if you have something . I am a 14th century Mafia type, and working toward a more historically correct presentation. PM me with what you’ve got, I’ll tell you if I am interested. All the funds from this stuff will go back to buying armor from other people here most likely (Have a few things in mind from Cet at RFtH), so it's sort of like the 'Circle of Life' from Lion King without the nice production values

If the brig will work size wise for you drop me a PM here with an offer. The worst that can happen is I say no and counter offer. I've got somebody local coming this evening to try on the body armor, kydex legs & gorget so if any of those items interests you let me know - it will go to the best offer, whatever that turns out to be. I have a definite price in mind, if you meet it it's yours... The reason I put stuff on eBay is I always under value my stuff, so you are probably better off contacting me here on the AA.

BTW, I won't sell for the 'current' bid on ebay. I've already had folks call and say "Let me add up the the current bid and make you an offer based on that". There are over a dozen people watching each item at this point and most bidding takes place in the last hour of an auction. I may be old and beaten up, but I'm not (usually) stupid

Brig and matching Legs sold Locally. Auctions are running down, I'd rather sell to AA folks.

BTW, Nobody has bid on the Merc Tailor Shoulder Cops. If anyone wants them here, I will do the same deal that Archibald did for Al - Whatever I make above what I paid for them plus shipping I will donate back to Al to "encourage" him to keep making stuff. I got my finger bucklers from him and that is what I bought these cops for, so now I don't need them.
