This is a beautiful hand made Tudor / Elizabethan era corset. Very authentic and will give the correct lines under gowns from these periods. Acceptable for reinactment. It is brand new, and never worn. I unfortunately changed sizes before I could wear it. Bust 44", Waist 38". This is meant to fit snugly, with only an inch or two of reduction in the waist. The bust should be compressed and lifted.
This Corset is made from cream fabric with a woven design detail. It is boned with authentic reed boning and has a wooden busk down the front which is held in place by a ribbon tie and can be removed for cleaning. The corset is laced down the back with white lacing cord and comes with a second shorter lace should you wish to be more authentic and spiral lace your corset. It has silver colored metal eyelets. The corset is lined with cream satin and has matching satin binding which is all hand finished. The straps are adjustable and tied with satin ribbon.
