Review of Viking leather for trade deal

Post by Ironbadger »

I did a trade a short time ago with Frank over at Viking leather, of a pair of his 14th century strapped ankle boots for an antler hilted seax, then another for a bunch of period brass buckles for a small belt seax.

Frank's communication was top notch, and he shipped everything promptly.
He even upgraded my trade to include his new lugged soles for my use in fighting.

It may sound like a broken record, but I couldn't be happier.
Theres a reason Viking leather stands among the best merchants on the archive, and the SCA. :D

These knives-

Sorry to disappoint anyone who might lust after them, but they're Frank's now.

Yep, these are mine now. When Ironbadger offered up a trade for a couple of his fantastic blades, I tried to play it cool and act like I wasn't really interested, but was really excited to see more of his work. I have been lucky enough to win an auction or two and now have these latest blades to add to the collection. Very great to work with, great knives. If you ever have a chance to pick one of his blades up, you will be very impressed with the quality. Thanks Ironbadger.
