I bought my gauntlets here-
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=142737
I put a layer of 6mm closed cell foam inside the finger buckler and fought in them.
POW! Took a shot directly onto the right hand with the buckler absorbing the impact, didn't even notice until afterwards when I saw the tape mark and had a think about it.
I procrastinated for ages about buying a pair of these gauntlets, mentally bitching about the cost involved and i am now kicking myself, as I have three fingers that might not have been fractured if I had not been such a cheapskate.
These are good gauntlets they will stop your fingers from getting smashed and let you handle your weapons with a fair amount of dexterity.

Re: Whonew review
Whonew makes a great set of finger gauntlets. His wisby design hasn't let me down yet and I've taken some significant shots to the hands in them.
I couldn't possibly be more pleased with them, and I recommend him to everyone who oogles at them at events (A lot of people
