FS Period Oil Blackened Kettle Helm $350 or best offer

I bought this on the archive, but I need to sell to afford armor of a different type. In the time that I bought it I had the bars extended downwards to be more protective (it was already legal) and olive oil blackened it in period fashion. It's a darker and more even black in person, but there are natural highlights in the blackening, which is what the camera picks up. The tones of it are what makes it clear that it's a period finish, and not spray paint. It also will last infinitely longer than spray paint. Underneath it is 12 gauge steel with an 11 gauge brim. It's a rock. Like I said, it would still be mine if not for a change in kit direction. Originally Two Ravens Armory. Add an aventail and you've got a fantastically period helmet. Because of design, it will fit a range of heads, I would say 23-25in.
