From Andrixos at Calontir Trim about his Lamallar Plates

Post by InsaneIrish »

I just got this and was asked to post it:

I have come to realize that the webpage with information for lamellar plates for Calontir Trim has been down for a few months.
It has been re-established at http://www.wardmetal.com/bethany/trim/armor.php Do not be concerned that it is at Ward Metal's site, as Sir Andrew and I are close friends, business partners, and most importantly, both relying on his daughter to do our website work. I am currently well stocked with 20 gage Stainless plates, though out of the Brass and 18 gage Stainless. I should have more brass by mid September and more 18 gage in late November.

(on Pennsic) I know that movie. It is the 13th warrior. A bunch of guys in armour that doesn't match itself or anybody elses, go on a trip and argue and get drunk and get laid and then fight Tuchux.

I have seen several armours made from these plates and let me say the option of fluted plates makes for one hell of a nice looking and strong set of Lamellar.

I agree. These plates are top notch, and strong. Please note, however, that the web prices are incorrect. The new pricing is .80 per plate (or $80 per 100) for standard plate in stainless, and .95 per plate ($95 per 100) for fluted stainless. Excellent customer service, and a good person to do business with.
