Stolen armor - Denver

Post by Therion »

From Theresa Wendland:

"My car was broken into last night and my suitcase was stolen that had my breastplate, klappvisor faceplate, and spaulders in it. If anyone sees any 'small armor' or 'kid's armor' that looks anything like mine come up for sale in the near future, please notify me. There are pictures of my armor up on my profile. It was stolen in Denver."

(posted on facebook - I'll point her towards this post, and will also pass on responses/leads)

Not sure if the stolen klappvisor face is her Windrose perf-plate - am awaiting further verification.

Therion,

If her stuff is not recovered please turn her onto this ebay listing:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Breastplate-Spr ... 500wt_1203

It may make a good replacement for what was stolen.

Oh, yes! If that fits Theresa, it would be good for jousting.

Hopefully the stuff will be recovered; if not, hopefully Josh can make her new stuff.

update- the stolen klapvisior isn't the Windrose pictured above, it is a standard klap face modified to fit the Windrose bascinet. No pics yet, but it has perf plate welded into the occularium.

Why do I never meet Ladies like that?

Why????

(p.s I hope that the scumbag who nicked the armour falls under a truck!)

Yeah, not to get off topic, but women in armor? Drop dead sexy.
I want to pummel the thief just for making this a world with one less armored goddess.

sorry to hear about the stolen goods :( That really sucks. If your stuff is never recovered, I do have a pair of spaulders I am not using. They may fit you, or can be tooled to fit. You would be more than welcome to have them.

Hey everyone, thanks for keeping an eye out for my armor. I really appreciate the help! I just found out that my insurance will cover most of my loss, so I will be having new armor made when my armorer gets back from Sankt Wendel. Thank you as well to those who have offered to help me to begin replacing my armor. I will still be keeping an ear to the ground to see if my armor is recovered and would really appreciate it of others could continue to do the same. Again, thank you all sooooo much, you have really helped to ease some of the hurt I felt from the theft.
