Trying to consolidate my bookshelf and piles. These are all in very good but used condition. The dust jacket on the tank book has been torn, but the book remains in very good condition. I am only willing to sell these as a collection, I need to move this stuff and not sit on one or two while I part them out. I will be adding more WW2 and Vietnam era books possibly next week. I need to concentrate my library on the eras I am focused on these days.

There is over $250 worth of books here if bought new on Amazon. Some of the used prices on these books commands a higher price than the new price. Some of the others are barely worth selling to cover the shipping, but you will be getting an amazing deal at the price I am asking.

$130 shipped for everything you see below.

German Army Uniforms of World War II
Wade Krawczyck

The German armed forces remain today - as they have been for decades - the most enduringly popular subject in the whole field of military uniform history. In this book, a gallery of full length studies is supported by close-up photographs of each item of clothing and insignia - even linings and manufacturer's markings; and of original items of personal equipment and effects. All the illustrated items are identified, described and explained in a detailed text by an expert collector. The 230 color photographs in this book represent an invaluable reference to a fascinating subject.

The Week France Fell
Noel Barber

Feldbluse
Jean-Phillip Borg

A detailed description of the German soldier's field tunic throughout the Second World War, in all its aspects: history, symbolism, manufacturing, evolution, insignia, etc., from the pre-war dress uniform to the shabby utilitarian garment of 1945.
Jean-Philippe Borg and Laurent Huart are experienced collectors and historians, who have managed to bring together a large quantity of authentic pieces for this book, all of which are illustrated in full color. Their descriptions are soundly supported by period documents sourced from the German Bundesarchiv.
This book will be an essential reference work for all collectors of Third Reich uniforms as well as World War II military history enthusiasts.

1940 Le Soldar Francais
Uniforms and Equipment French Solder 1940
Olivier Bellec

The French Army in 1939-40 was going through a profound transformation. The concepts which had prevailed until the end of the 19th century where uniforms and material were concerned, were about to disappear and give way to more modern ones thanks to mechanization and technical progress. The equipment which French troops were issued with turned out to be varied, and therefore studying it is complex.
Thanks to more than ten years of research and analysis of military archives, pictures, and equipment, the author reviews all the uniforms, weapons, and equipment used by infantrymen, gunners, troopers, sappers, and medics in the continental and Scandinavian theaters of operations. The items are shown in color with all the details needed for clear identification. Because of the unequaled range and the variety of the items presented - some of which are very rare - this work is a must for all French 1940 memorabilia collectors. This book is also important for those interested in WWI equipment because of the numbers of items inherited from this period and the detailed presentation of the tools, harnesses, small items of equipment, and collective weapons.

Hitler: Nemesis 1936-1945
Ian Kershaw
The New Yorker declared the first volume of Ian Kershaw's two-volume masterpiece "as close to definitive as anything we are likely to see," and that promise is fulfilled in this stunning second volume. As Nemesis opens, Adolf Hitler has achieved absolute power within Germany and triumphed in his first challenge to the European powers. Idolized by large segments of the population and firmly supported by the Nazi regime, Hitler is poised to subjugate Europe. Nine years later, his vaunted war machine destroyed, Allied forces sweeping across Germany, Hitler will end his life with a pistol shot to his head. "[M]ore probing, more judicious, more authoritative in its rich detail...more commanding in its mastery of the horrific narrative."—Milton J. Rosenberg, Chicago Tribune 48 pages of black and white illustrations

Blitzkrieg Myth
John Mosier
A bold reinterpretation of some of the most decisive battles of World War II, showing that the outcomes had less to do with popular new technology than old–fashioned, on–the–ground warfare.
The military myths of World War II were based on the assumption that the new technology of the airplane and the tank would cause rapid and massive breakthroughs on the battlefield, or demoralization of the enemy by intensive bombing resulting in destruction, or surrender in a matter of weeks. The two apostles for these new theories were the Englishman J.C.F. Fuller for armoured warfare, and the Italian Emilio Drouhet for airpower. Hitler, Rommel, von Manstein, Montgomery and Patton were all seduced by the breakthrough myth or blitzkrieg as the decisive way to victory.

Ivans War: Life and Death in the Red Army 1939-1945
Catherine Merridale
They died in vast numbers, eight million men and women driven forward in suicidal charges, shattered by German shells and tanks. They were the soldiers of the Red Army, an exhausted mass of recruits who confronted Europe's most lethal fighting force and by 1945 had defeated it. For sixty years, their experiences were suppressed, replaced by patriotic propaganda. We know how the soldiers died, but nearly nothing about how they lived, how they saw the world, or why they fought. In this ambitious, revelatory history, Catherine Merridale uncovers the harrowing story of who these soldiers were, and how they lived and died during the war.
