Hi everyone,
I'm curious if there is any interest in a small arming helmet.
The helm is made of 16g mild and has a slightly dished top cap - which is riveted down via fifteen tabs. The helmet is open-faced and unpadded, but it does have a red felt-lined chin-strap. This represents my second helm, and my second experiment with russeting. The russet finish is fairly even, and has been sealed with oil. The inside is painted, and the inside of the top-cap rubberized.
At the brow, the helm measures 25.75 inches. It is 7 inches in height, 9.25 inches front to back, and 7 inches ear to ear. I have a 22 inch head, and this helmet fits snug with a quilted arming cap.
This helm is perfect for live action role-playing, Renaissance Faires, early Medieval re-enactment, or display.
I can send pictures to those interested in purchasing the helmet, and can answer any questions you might have.
- $65 - or better offer.
