As an aside, why are there still Kingdoms using epee and foil blades? I haven't done a lot of rapier fighting, but I dabbled in epee, sabre and foil in my fencing class about 6 years ago, and did about 3 months schlager fighting in the SCA, and I have to say that the schlager is the my personal favorite. By far the most like a real sword. Haven't tried those diamond-shaped Del Tin's yet though.
Here in Aethelmerc, you have to authorize in three weapon forms before you are allowed to take up the schlaeger. That was always my goal but I had a run in with the knight marshal and problems with my joints so that was the end of that.
Hey...I did my part to bring the price up. It is getting a litte rich for me. I am assuming that shipping is going to be another 30-40 dollars. That's a lot of gear. I wish I could go to 400+, but then I would have to eat ramen for the next month.
