After a long delay due to the hurricane, I've finally got the first batch of rings in and have started on knocking out pre-orders.

The new flat 3/8" ring size allows for very opaque, strong, and light weight. The wire is 0.074" across, which is about the diameter of 14 SWG, and yet is lighter than titanium in 1/4". A typical shirt (Short sleeved, 44" chest, 30" from armpit to bottom hem) weighs under 16 pounds in flat 3/8". Below are the current prices for aventails. But, until November 30th, I will throw in a $10 discount for pictures of my maille being worn, offer 10% off on multi-item orders, and throw in free shipping within the US (if international I will discount the shipping cost by as much as would cost to ship within USA).
Below are aventails in the ring sizes I have in stock.

3/8" Flat Wire (Stainless):

Long - $200, 2.7 lb.
Short - $125, 1.6 lb.

1/4" Square Wire & Punched:

Long - $225, 4.8 lb.
Short - $145, 2.7 lb.

Cheers,
-Ben

How much would a set of chauses and a hauberk run out of the 3/8" wire?

It depends greatly on your measurements, but for the shirt above, it'd be in the $900 range for the shirt. I'd have to get more details for a quote of the chauses.

I'm looking forward to a 3/8" long aventail!
