Hookah anyone?

Post by Varukh »

Ok so i have recently started a bit of a Hookah collection and i need to get rid of one or two. These are very clean and have never been used for anything other than shisha and steam stones. (ABSOLUTELY NO ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES EVER USED HERE)
first up is a two hose MZ (Magdy Zidan) with a practically new washable Egyptian hose (only ever used the hose twice), base protector, and Egyptian bowl. asking $50+shipping

next is a generic 1970's brass Turkish stem. $30+shipping (not solid brass but thick and sturdy brass) Stem will come with a generic clay male bowl with grommet, and teeny tiny wind cover. the bowl of shisha in the pic has already been claimed by a buddy of mine but the rest is up for sale.

Dibs on the brass. How does the internals look? Any scale build up? Whats the hose plug diameter? How long is the stem? what kind of bell seal does it have?

the stem from bowl port to tip of downstem is 15"
inside is very clean for its age, no buildup on the downstem or the hose port.
hose port is rather small at 1/2' but i have the original wooden tip that came with the old hose. (old hose was toast) the tip could be used on a fancy hose or some other hose with a removable port side.
the part that goes into the vase is a little hard to explain, but you can kind of see it in this pic.

the hose port goes down into the hollow portion outside the down stem...kind of like a common chamber but not really.
just to clarify the gray stuff on the bottom is solder not buildup from smoking. (i keep my stuff clean) also the white seal on the outside is just athletic tape. I find it works a lot better than those rubber grommets that come with most hookahs, and it is easier to replace if needed.

I'll take it if you throw in the wooden tip, so I can carve a chunk of horn to match. PM me a paypal.
