Please help finding Bruhn Engbrecht or the Maximilian helmet

Post by wcallen »

Since people seem to be posting problems with sellers. I guess it is my turn to see if anyone can help.

This post listed a half suit:

viewtopic.php?f=3&t=116583&p=1733393#p1733393

I purchased it - mainly because I thought the helmet would be fun to have.

The helmet never arrived. It was "about to come", "needed to be polished", "shipped but stopped at customs and returned" etc. I did get the breast/back and arms/shoulders. But the helmet was what I wanted most.

I think 18 months is long enough to wait for a used piece of armour.

If anyone sees the helmet or seller I would love to hear from you.

Thanks,

So you got everything but the helm? Methinks he might've found a better deal from someone else, payment wise...or he just said to hell with it and screwed you knowingly.

It says his last visit was Jan 17, 2013 so it stands to reason he's ignoring you, man. Considering it is used, which means it was already made, you waited 17 months too long. Good luck hunting this guy down.

Get out the Pitchforks!

Last visit: Thu Jan 17, 2013 5:21 am. So he has been around.

There were two asks for the gaunts and one for the Helmet to be sold separate in the thread. Have you contacted them to see if they received the Helm, Wade?

Either way you have been beyond patient.

Silly me, I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. One of the notes from him dated Tue May 03, 2011 12:58 pm was:
Hello!

I deepy apologize for the delayed responce time, I been out of town desperatley looking for work. The good news is the helmet after dealing with the post office in the past as you know. Is now in my custody, And when I got it, It had like soggy old card board or somthing stuck to it.

I am going to clean it, package it, and have it out thursday and will provide the tacking number.

Please questions comments or concerns I am here.
I have had problems with the post office myself, so anything seemed possible....

But that appears to be the end of the other side of the conversation.

If anyone knows him or where he is, or sees the helmet, a heads up would be nice.

Wade
