I started this a month or so ago, and finished it up this weekend. Belt is 6 inches wide by 48 inches long, made of 9 ounce veg. tan that has been oil dyed brown. Scales are 1.5 inch brass sold to me by Cheflua a few months ago. I decorated it with a commonly used and well documented repeating double spiral from the La Tene era.

I am willing to size this down for smaller fighters. I have not placed buckles on this kidney belt. After the auction ends, I will size this down and place 1 inch brass buckles and 9 ounce leather straps on this - they will have the same repeating double spiral on them. It will take 2 weeks to size and strap this armor, then I will mail it via USPS.

Wow I was thinking of making a scaled belt the other day, Yours looks awesome nice work.

Are you disappointed? I'm trying to gauge the particular market I have for my custom work. I make what I want to make and then I see if it sells, it seems to work for me.

it is a beautiful piece but beyond my budget at the moment(the tax man cometh and everything is beyond my budget)
