Looking for Viking Axe

I am looking for a nice viking or dane axe to go with my persona. Most of the ones I have seen from looking around the net just don't seem right. I have seen on in particular that I liked a lot. A lot of people have seen it. Sir Thorfinn showed me his last year at the Viking feast he attended with my lady and I. The three of us won for the best viking costumes. But he had this beautiful axe.
He told me who it was that made it but I cant remember who it was or just how much it would be to get one kind of similar only with a raven etched on the blade.
Hopefully someone knows. In fact Dimitry you might know. You see him often perhaps you could have him send me an e-mail at the below e-mail address.
ryan.kaono@siab.aorcentaf.af.milThat is my e-mail here in Bahrain. He knows I'm here. I just don't have his e-mail address or I would ask him myself.

Have you seen the ones at
www.therionarms.comNot sure if it's what you're looking for but there are some nice axes in the combat weapons section.
This is not a payed endorsement.

I have two of the ones from Therion, the Mammen axe and the broad axe, and I love them!

Garth,
Thanks for the link to Hanwei and van sussen. I actually just got a scamasax from them. From what I have heard it is beautiful. I didn't know about their website from Ebay.
Thanks again,
Lodinn

Did the axe Thorfinn was carrying have a rune serpent in bronze inlay around the shaft end of the blade?
If so, I built it and he borrowed it from Uther.
Then again, I am sure he owns his own axes as well....

Sasha,
I think I do remember something about him getting it from Uther. It was a beautiful piece of workmanship. So far I have never seen one to challenge its beauty. Uther is lucky to have a friend such as you who could put such workmanship and art into such as that axe.
Thank you for sharing your skill.

Gosh, thank you for the kind words. But actually the axe was built as a custom job and was a gift from his then Lady (who I am good friends with. The fact they are no longer together does mean that whoever Uther dates next had better
a)not be the jelous type
or
b) Not be able to read elder-futhark runes.

The thing I most remeber about the axe is that as soon as Uther had it in his hands and had finished saying thank you to Meesh, he strode over to stand about 15 feet away form a tree and threw the axe!....And the bastard got it to stick full impact, at face height on his first throw.
One of my personally memorable moments of Rowany Festival....

....who needs to get around to finishing 10 more axes that are "nearly done" around the workshop.

Sasha,
What is that about the runes? Hmmm I didn't figure out what they meant either. I wish I could remember what they said. Any idea if you will be doing any more of them that nice? And if so I am looking for one with a raven etched on the face. And the icelandic runes for leggbir which is icelandic for leg biter.
Also how much would something like that go for? I'm not in much of a hurry. I am still stuck in Bahrain for a while.

Artos,
I think the one I saw from him was Uther's. But I'm not sure. I have seen Uther's though and it is really nice. Kara (my lady) sent Jarl Thorfinn a letter via snail mail since neither she nor I have his e-mail. So hopefully I will get an e-mail from him soon.
