Or I'll find someone who does the gothic thing. Who knows.

Hmmm. Make you a deal Uilliam. Write a short poem about a spearwoman in the SCA (Iambic Pentameter would be awesome, but totally not required) and I'll totally let you have the breastplate straps. Thoughts?

Finding the spear Woman


Twas a bright sunny morn as I eased from tent
Saw a beautiful site, such that that my heart did rent

Was a woman of spear just sitting there
Laughing at me, there in my underwear

I smiled back and then that was that
She’s been by my side ever since, and we are both growing fat

Off the spoils of war that she and I win, her with here spear and me with my Shield
And of course my fearsome sword that I take to the field

Her spear is so quick and she stands in the wall
Sending my foes to the Valhalla hall

She curls in my bed and I sleep like the dead with no worries
Knowing she’s there with spear close at hand, ready to deal death in a hurry

I liked the poem. I was hoping you'd make it funny though. I think if I told this one to the spear woman I had in mind, she'd break my arms....I just don't know if she'd drag me to her tent first or not. Terrifying either way......
